We extend an invitation to science graduates keen on engaging in a dynamic and comprehensive 18-month learning experience, culminating in a permanent position, to join our Graduate Program. This opportunity is perfect for those with a passion for science and a desire for diverse, fast-paced work within a supportive and thriving environment.
In addition, we look favourably upon applicants with the following qualifications however, they are not mandatory:
Participants will be immersed in JTA's diverse range of services across all departments through a structured 18-month program. This invaluable experience will empower you to identify and pursue your area of specialisation confidently.
If successful, you will spend time in each of our departments to provide you with a deep understanding of our business and prepare you for a successful career in Occupational Health and Safety. At the conclusion of the program, you will have the experience to decide which area of OHS you would like to specialise in.
Kickstart your journey with a month in our sales department where you will gain insights into JTA’s business processes and engagement strategies. During this period, you will be involved in consulting, site visits and receive technical training in Occupational Noise Assessments and Audiometry.
During your time in the Safety Department, you will help clients manage their OHS obligations covering a range of technical areas including screening audiometry, occupational noise and air monitoring. At the conclusion, you will be fully equipped to conduct onsite assessments, analyse results and compile technical reports ensuring they are compliant with the relevant legislation.
Our Facilities Department encompasses Hazardous Materials Management, including asbestos. You will be trained so that you can participate in research, surveying, sampling, and analysis. You will also learn how to report on a wide range of hazardous materials in the built environment, including asbestos and lead.
Whilst in the Environment Department you will learn how to qualitatively assess the risk to external stakeholders and residents from noise emissions, determine appropriate control measures and provide recommendations in a technical report. You will engage in noise and vibration monitoring and gain insight into the technical aspects of noise and vibration modelling.
