Jeremy is a highly skilled and well-respected industry leader. In recognition for his contribution to furthering the awareness and understanding of occupational hygiene, he was awarded "Fellowship" status of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (AIOH) and is a Chartered Fellow of the Safety Institute of Australia. Jeremy is also President Elect of the AIOH.
As Founder and Principal Occupational Hygienist of JTA, Jeremy has amassed vast experience across the military, national, state and local government, manufacturing, construction, retail and commercial sectors. His passion in OHS lies in pursuing the scientific assessment of risk and prioritising controls to get the best return in worker health and he has been engaged in several research projects on that issue.
Jeremy is committed to sustainability and has always strived to balance the needs of people, the planet and profitability. He monitors the environmental impact that JTA has and how it can adapt its practices, processes and systems to be more eco-friendly. As a passionate surfer, his love for the environment influences everything he does.
Rhonda has a strong background in strategic planning, marketing and business management and over 25 years’ experience in corporate governance, performance assessment and managing compliance and risk.
Rhonda’s focus is on business development and building client relationships. She has helped nurture and grow the business to the nationwide success that it is today but also ensures that all clients receive the personal service that was the backbone of JTA when it was established in 1988.
As a collaborative leader with a demonstrated ability to develop teams, deliver strategic and operational outcomes and build organisational capability, Rhonda has been instrumental in developing JTA to the high performing team of consulting professionals that it is today. Rhonda’s passion is ocean swimming 365 days a year.
Jackson Trotman is the Technical Director of JTA Health, Safety & Noise and leads the company's Sydney office.
With a background in civil engineering and occupational hygiene, Jackson has extensive experience helping organisations identify, assess and control workplace health and environmental risks. Since joining JTA, he has developed expertise across occupational hygiene, asbestos management, hazardous materials, indoor air quality, workplace exposure monitoring, environmental assessments and compliance auditing.
As a Full Member of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (MAIOH) and a Licensed Asbestos Assessor, Jackson provides technical leadership across JTA's national projects and works closely with clients to deliver practical, evidence-based solutions that protect workers and ensure regulatory compliance.
Working alongside his brother Thomas, Jackson is part of the next generation leading the family business. Based in Sydney, he supports organisations across New South Wales and Australia with complex workplace health, safety and environmental challenges, while continuing to expand JTA's technical capabilities and service offerings.
With qualifications in Civil Engineering, Finance and a recently completed MBA from the University of Melbourne, Thomas Trotman is the Commercial Director of JTA Health, Safety & Noise, and leads the Melbourne office.
Thomas joined JTA in 2019 after working as both a civil engineer and management consultant, bringing a strong combination of technical knowledge, commercial strategy and operational leadership. Since then, he has played a key role in the growth and transformation of the business, helping expand JTA's services, systems and national client base.
Working alongside his brother Jackson, Thomas now leads the commercial direction of the family business, overseeing business development, marketing, client relationships and strategic growth initiatives. His focus is on ensuring JTA continues to deliver practical, high-quality solutions that help organisations manage workplace health, safety, environmental and compliance risks.
Thomas is passionate about using data, technology and innovation to improve business performance and create better outcomes for clients. Outside of work, he is an accomplished sailor and coach, having competed and coached at state and national levels throughout his career.
