Workplace Audiometric Testing

The OHS/WHS regulations require employees who need to wear hearing protection to do their job to have Audiometric Testing:    

• Within three months following the commencement of employment 
• At any time when reasonably requested to do so by the health and safety representative of the designated work group
• At least every two years (results cannot be legally compared to the previous test results if not done within this specified time period)

JTA has been conducting screening Audiometric Testing for 35 years. Our testing is conducted in accordance with state legislative requirements and the Australian Standard AS/NZS1269.4. Our skilled Audiometric Testers will ensure that your program is undertaken professionally and accurately. For your convenience, we provide electronic records of all employees tested and have records dating back to the commencement of this service.  

Our mobile onsite audiometric testing unit can come to your site/s at a time to suit you and your workforce, no matter what shifts they work.

Our Screening Audiometry Training meets the competency requirements for Audiometrists as outlined in relevant state legislation and regulations.
