In accordance with WHS laws, asbestos clearance inspections must be carried out by an independent assessor after any asbestos removal work. JTA have qualified and experienced asbestos assessors ready to assist with your residential, commercial and industrial sites. The importance of a thorough asbestos inspection is often understated, particularly if a class A (friable asbestos) removal has occurred, as asbestos fibres can cause dangerous and fatal diseases if inhaled.

Asbestos Clearance Certificate

Upon the completion of an asbestos inspection, a clearance certificate must state that “an inspection by an independent person has found that there is no visible asbestos residue remaining as a result of the asbestos removal work”. While not legally required, it is highly recommended that a clearance certificate is also gained for the removal of non-friable asbestos containing materials (ACMs) that do not exceed 10 square metres in total.

To get an accurate asbestos inspection price, talk to our experienced team on 1300 856 282, as there are several factors that need to be considered. Our asbestos assessors follow strict protocols to ensure your clearance inspection is completed to the highest standards.

Included in the asbestos clearance cost is:

  • A site inspection
  • Air monitoring before, during and after a class A removal (friable asbestos) with detailed results
  • An assessment of the workplace to determine its safety for re-occupation
  • An asbestos clearance certificate (if all criteria are met)
