JTA is a leading provider of Audiometric Testing. All our hearing tests are performed onsite and inside our mobile units, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to your operation. Screening is conducted according to the Australian Standard AS/NZS1269.4:2014, and audiometric testing results are reported via Datagram, a specialised Audiometric Testing results program.

OHS Management Systems

An OHS Management System is a framework of plans, actions and procedures used to systematically manage the health and safety function in an organisation. It will influence the occupational health and safety performance of your business and relies on a systemic process of continuous improvement to be truly successful.

Plant Risk Assessments

For over 35 years JTA has been one of Australia’s leading workplace consultancies and conducted plant risk assessments to ensure that workplaces are safe and OHS compliant. Plant is a major cause of workplace death and injury in Australian workplaces. Unsafe use, poor design or a lack of maintenance poses significant risks to workers. Managing the risks associated with plant should be part of your comprehensive OHS management plan.

Mould Assessments

Trusted by businesses for over 35 years, JTA’s highly skilled Occupational Hygienists will provide a detailed mould assessment for your workplace. Mould is a threat to indoor air quality and a fast-growing health concern. Mould growth can also threaten the structural integrity of buildings, especially where there has been water damage due to extreme weather conditions.

Indoor Air Quality Testing

As a leading workplace consultancy for over 35 years, JTA is experienced at conducting indoor air quality testing. Consistently ranked among the top five environmental risks to public health, poor indoor air can lead to significant health issues ranging from acute to chronic. This means that indoor air quality could have serious implications for the comfort, health and productivity of your workforce.

Heat Stress Assessments

At JTA we regularly review regulatory changes so that we can advise you on how to stay compliant. Working indoors or outdoors in intense heat can cause heat related illnesses and fatigue which can impair thinking and reaction times and lead to worker injury. Heat stress needs to be monitored and prevented as part of your overall WHS management plan.

Traffic Management Planning

In a busy warehouse or factory with forklifts, trucks, equipment and people moving around, accidents can easily happen. In order to ensure a smooth working and safe environment for optimal productivity, a Traffic Management Plan is critical. It will identify hazards, assess the risks and worst-case scenarios and provide recommendations on effective risk control measures.

Manual Handling Risk Assessments

JTA is a leading provider of safety services with over 35 years’ experience in conducting manual handling risk assessments. According to WorkSafe, poorly designed or incorrect manual handling tasks are the biggest cause of injuries in Victorian workplaces. The cost of these injuries to your business can be reduced significantly as they are manageable and preventable.

OHS Compliance Audits

Using an independent and experienced auditor makes sense in today’s highly regulated and changing health and safety landscape. Our highly qualified Occupational Hygienists have many years of experience and understand the need for compliance with legislative requirements. They’ll conduct a confidential OHS Compliance Audit to identify strengths and weaknesses within your workplace and assess how well you are meeting legislation, regulations and established best practices.
