Dangerous Goods Regulations

Without proper management, dangerous goods can pose a serious risk to the health and safety of workers and the surrounding environment. To ensure you meet your legal responsibilities, identifying and managing any risks associated with dangerous goods needs to be addressed by providing employees with information, training and supervision. JTA have qualified and experienced Occupational Hygienists ready to help you navigate dangerous goods legislation with an audit.

Audiometric Testing Requirements

With the purchase of Industrial Audiometric Services in 2004, JTA now services workplaces with audiometric testing in our mobile units. Then, in 2007, the purchases of Noise Management Services and Hearing Conservation Services of Australia has allowed us to expand our fleet of mobile audiometric testing units nationwide with the ability to also run WorkCover accredited audiometric screening courses.

Asbestos Inspection

In accordance with WHS laws, asbestos clearance inspections must be carried out by an independent assessor after any asbestos removal work. JTA have qualified and experienced asbestos assessors ready to assist with your residential, commercial and industrial sites. The importance of a thorough asbestos inspection is often understated, particularly if a class A (friable asbestos) removal has occurred, as asbestos fibres can cause dangerous and fatal diseases if inhaled.

Asbestos Audits

JTA are experts in asbestos identification, assessment and management. We can help you navigate this highly regulated area at national and state level. By inspecting the site, collecting samples, using an independent NATA-accredited laboratory to analyse the samples, and developing a risk assessment report for asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), we provide comprehensive asbestos audits.

Audiometry Training Courses

Audiometry Training Courses

JTA have upcoming audiometry courses for individuals looking to perform in-house hearing tests. Run over three days, our comprehensive course meets the competency requirements for audiometrists as outlined in Occupational Noise Management Part 4 Auditory assessment. Conducted in either large, centralised locations or small, on-site sessions, the training will be in the form of lectures, participation, practical sessions and a final assignment.

Contractor Management
