Our experienced and qualified Occupational Hygienists are all members of the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH). They are skilled at assessing workplaces and will work with you to understand your business and to identify potential risks to your workers. By evaluating these risks and their severity, they are able to recommend an Occupational Hygiene Management Plan to maintain a safe working environment.

An Occupational Hygiene Management Plan includes:

• Identification of physical, chemical and biological hazards that workers are likely to be exposed to, details of the health effects and contemporary controls relevant to the hazard
• Legislative obligations and best practice health surveillance for identified hazards
• A breakdown of the workforce by similar exposure groups (SEGs)
• Identification and qualitative risk assessment of SEGs exposure to physical, chemical and biological hazards as part of their work
• Recommended controls to continually improve the health and safety of workers including:
  • Monitoring and measurement of exposure 
  • The type and frequency of occupational or para-occupational monitoring for each SEG or hazard
  • The type and frequency of health monitoring / surveillance for each SEG

 Where practicable the outcomes of the report shall be summarised in tabular format with a ‘traffic light’ formatting approach to clearly identify risk ratings/priorities.
